Hi, I’m Josh Dorfman

As a climate entrepreneur, I’ve built sustainable consumer, manufacturing,  and media businesses. Recently, I was co-founder & CEO of Plantd, a carbon-negative building materials startup named to Fast Company’s 2024 list of The World’s Most Innovative Companies.

I’ve also been known as The Lazy Environmentalist, a media brand I created to help consumers discover convenient and cost-effective ways to embrace sustainable lifestyles.

From a soundproofed closet in my Brooklyn apartment, I built The Lazy Environmentalist into a daily radio show on SiriusXM, an award-winning reality TV show on Sundance Channel, two books, one calendar, and many morning show appearances on the likes of Morning Joe, The Martha Stewart Show, Wake Up With Al, and Fox & Friends.

We created Supercool because we know our civilization has the tools to solve climate change in ways that enable humanity to flourish. The proof is in the data and experiences of people and communities in towns and cities around the globe.

Not all climate solutions are created equal. Some are unrealistic. Others are uninspired. Yet, in the hands of forward-looking entrepreneurs, engineers, policymakers, and everyday professionals, the low-carbon economy delivers.

We’re excited to share it with you.
