Hi, I’m Josh Dorfman
As a climate entrepreneur, I’ve built sustainable consumer, manufacturing, and media companies. In 2021, I co-founded Plantd, a carbon-negative building materials manufacturer named to Fast Company’s list of The World’s Most Innovative Companies.
I’ve also been known as The Lazy Environmentalist, a media brand I created to help consumers discover convenient and cost-effective ways to embrace sustainable lifestyles.
From a soundproofed closet in my Brooklyn apartment, I grew The Lazy Environmentalist into a daily radio show on SiriusXM, an award-winning reality TV show on Sundance Channel, two books, one calendar, and many morning show appearances on the likes of Morning Joe, The Martha Stewart Show, Wake Up With Al, and Fox & Friends.
We created Supercool because we know our civilization has the capability to solve climate change, and the best solutions do more than eliminate carbon emissions; they enable humanity to flourish. We surface the hidden stories of climate companies winning customers, taking market share, and collectively turning the low-carbon economy into the fastest economic transformation in history.
